All marina guests are invited to participate in our beautiful Community Garden during their stay at Stock Island Marina Village. Whether you’re here for a few weeks or call this Marina Village home, we encourage you to take full advantage of our tropical climate and see what nature can do for you. After all, what’s a village without a garden?
There are 31 garden plots from which guests can grow and enjoy their favorite plants. The plants help restore oxygen to the air and reduce air pollution, giving us that clean island breeze we love so much.
All gardeners take a pledge to use only organic and non-GMO practices. Instead of pesticides, guinea fowls serve as the garden’s insect patrol. These practices ensure you’re able to bring a wide range of healthy foods back to your galley.
Our Community Garden brings our Marina Village together; as we help each other build something to be proud of. We want you to feel right at home, and by sharing a little piece of paradise with your neighbors, we hope it does just that.
